We promote environmental care through environmental system ISO14001: 2004.

Furukawa Automotive Mexico is committed to the security and safety of our associates, as well as our environment through:

- The Compliance with all applicable legal requirements regarding: Health, Safety and Environment; and any other requirements applicable to our Environmental Aspects.

- Develop, review and monitor programs, goals and objectives; allocating the necessary resources.

- Training programs considering personnel in charge of Safety, Health and Environment, as well as all company levels staff.

- Verify compliance through internal and external audits.

- Maintain our Safety & Health; and Environmental System and the continuous improvement of our processes for the prevention of accidents, diseases and environmental pollution.

Certifications & Recognitions

OHSAS 18001:2007-Certified

OHSAS 18001:2007 is the international specification for an Occupational Health & Safety management system (OH&S). It specifies requirements for establishing a health and safety policy, determining risks and hazards of products/activities/services, planning objectives and measurable targets, implementation and operation of programs to meet objectives and targets, with continual improvement through corrective action and management review.

ISO 14001:2002-Certified

ISO 14001:2004 is the international specification for an environmental management system (EMS). It specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of products/activities/services, planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, implementation and operation of programs to meet objectives and targets, checking and corrective action and management review.

ISO TS16949:2002-Certified

ISO/TS 16949:2009, in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008, defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products. ISO/TS 16949:2009 is applicable to sites of the organization where customer-specified parts, for production and/or service, are manufactured.
